Tax preparation & planning

Tax prep and planning, all year.

Filing is the last step, not the first. We prepare accurate returns and help you plan ahead so there are fewer surprises in April.

Returns we prepare

  • Individual returns, including self-employed and multi-income households
  • S corporation returns (Form 1120-S)
  • Partnership and multi-member LLC returns (Form 1065)
  • C corporation returns (Form 1120)
  • Oregon state returns
  • Catch-up filing for prior years

Planning, not just filing

The best tax decisions usually happen months before a return is filed. Throughout the year we look at timing of income and expenses, equipment purchases, retirement contributions, entity structure and estimated payments, so your return reflects choices you made on purpose.

Read our 2026 year-end tax planning checklist to see the kinds of questions we work through with clients.

Behind on filing?

It happens more than you think. We can help you gather what is missing, file prior-year returns and get back on a normal schedule.

What to have ready

Last year's return, W-2s and 1099s, records of income and expenses, and receipts for deductions. Businesses should also have bank and credit card statements, payroll reports and financial statements. Please use our secure portal for documents, not email.

Common questions

When are business returns due?

S corporation and partnership returns are generally due March 15 for calendar-year businesses. Individual and C corporation returns are generally due April 15.

Does an extension give me more time to pay?

No. An extension gives you more time to file, not to pay. Estimated tax owed is still due by the original deadline.
